I'd like to take this opportunity to share with you how much I genuinely, absolutely loathe George W. Bush. Why, you ask? (actually, if you have to ask, you might want to stop reading now because you're probably a Republican... or have been under a rock for the past six years)

George W Bush (aka Dumbass) is such a complete waste of carbon atoms that he makes Nixon look like a pretty harmless (albeit pathetic) guy... and of course Bill Clinton is like a demi-god rock star in some circles these days (we miss you, Bill!!). Yep, Dubya takes the proverbial cake when it comes to being an outstandingly crappy chief executive.

How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways... (yes, cliché, but I'm in a cliché-ish-kind-of-mood tonight) Since I am a recovering Iowan, I hesitate to use the word "hate"... tho, actually in this case I could make an exception if I were feeling especially edgy. For now, tho, we'll stick with "loathe".

I loathe W more than I loathe explosive diarrhea at a crowded music festival with nothing but overused port-a-potties. I loathe W more than being trapped in a small elevator in 105-degree heat with large, smelly obnoxious people and a continuous loop of Barry Manilow music playing through vibrating speakers. I loathe him more than I loathe vermin (any kind). Actually, W is quite vermin-esque in many ways... one could say rodential (love that word).

OK - so you got the picture that I'm not a big W fan. Actually, six years into this W-induced hell, I STILL find myself agape over the fact that he even IS our president! Jesus Henry Christ! What madness has befallen our beloved country?? I mean, the first time (2000) he (they) obviously cheated. But a second term? My oh my oh my oh my... this is like that Superman Bizarro World... or Germany in the 1930's... or several other freakish scenarios that most of us assumed were tucked away neatly in the past or in the fantasy world of science fiction. But, NOOOOO. Here we are... living in the Dubya Zone... a dimension of sight and sound that makes no sense to any fairly sane person with an IQ above room temperature... wow. These are strange times, indeed.

So, where do we go from here? Damn good question. Has our country in general just completely lost its marbles? its backbone? How is it possible that such a lame-atroid could still be supported by people who are not in comas? I know... the Rapture thing... will somebody please explain how the Theory of Evolution could be cast as "hocus pocus", but the imminent Rapture is a logical, rational assumption? Like I said... Bizarro World.

Ponder this for a second... when the president's biography comes up as the first listing in Google when you type in keywords, "miserable failure"... wow. I know it takes a lot to get up to the top of those lists... even the BBC took note.

Yes, my dear readers (all 2 of you) this is a loathe like no other... W has given me a veritable plethora of reasons to loathe him deeply... and each day, my loathe grows stronger. It's a perfect loathe.

Now, I should be fair - W is not the only recipient of my passionate loathing - his minions are equally loathed. Uncle Dickhead is right up there at the top of the list of the loathed, followed closely by Turdblossom Rove, Uncle Rummy, the frighteningly Reptilian Condi and the other usual suspects at the top of the GOP dogpile. This is a really creepy, really powerful bunch of folks who have no souls and a highly dangerous agenda that may very well bring about their coveted Armageddon...

In future ramblings, I will address some of the more loathsome current Bushit as it occurs. Fear not - there will be no shortage there! At least the Dub is consistent... "stay the course... heh heh" Oh, just picturing him saying that makes me nauseas...

Incidentally, Iowa voted for Bush in 2004... I was really bummed. I lived in Brother Jeb's no-paper-trail Florida then and kind of suspected that was a rigged game... but I thought the common-sense Iowa folks would be too smart to fall for the Bushit... alas.
