There just aren't enough hours in the day or night... this week is a whirlwind of meetings and meetups and work and play and very very little sleep...
I'm still in Ft. Lauderdale and am heading to Key Biscayne (I'd better brush up on my limited Spanish phrases) tomorrow night to hang with my bro and his fam. I've made an executive decision to delay my departure from Florida for one day - mostly to avoid the snowstorm and -8° temps that are forecast for northwest Iowa on Sunday. Instead, I will arrive in the great white north on Monday, when it will be a balmy -4° and hopefully NOT snowing! I refuse to drive in that white stuff - and ice - fugget about it!
But hey - I'm in the subtropics right now with good friends and NOT freezing my ass off yet, and Mojo is having the time of his life with all my dog-loving friends and their dog-loving dogs...so it's all good.
Hey, I grew up in Dunlap, Iowa, in SW Iowa, not far from Council Bluffs. Went to Jr. College in Estherville and finished off at the U of I in Iowa City. Graduated from HS in 64. Are you in Asheville now?
